In 1958, cult American shoe brand Hush Puppies was creatively conceived. Famed for radically revolutionising contemporary casual footwear, they bounded onto the market when US tannery Wolverine crafted a classic suede Oxford shoe, fashioned from native American pigskin leather.
ifty years later, in celebration of our 50th Birthday, Hush Puppies has partnered with two fashion-forward celebrity stylists, Phillip Bloch from New York City, and Rachel Fanconi from London.
Both designers have tapped their singular style and keen fashion sensibilities to create a special collection of shoes in the first ever Guest Designer Series from Hush Puppies.
Fanconi has provided the inspiration for the women’s collection and Bloch for the men’s. In the process, they have both captured what it means to be outright stylish and downright comfortable.
